Carl Moos

Biography

Posters. Born 1878 in Munich. Studied at the Munich Kunstgewerbeschule. 1895-9: illustrated for a Munich newspaper. 1907: designed his first poster. 1914: designed the section of Bavarian book printers for the ‘Bugra’ exhibition, Leipzig. 1914: founder member of the Munich agency Die Sechs (The Six), an association of Munich poster artists. Died 1959.
