Born 16 January 1901 in Kassel. Studied at art schools in Berlin and Leipzig: a teacher was Max Klinger. 1940-45: Design consultant for the Reichspost. 1944: moved from Berlin to Badenweisler to escape bombing; much of her work was lost during the war. Died 24 May 1992 in Eberbach.
