Biography
Publicity, lettering, illustrations. Born 12 April 1892 in Kolberg (now Kolobrzeg, Poland). Studied at the school attached to the museum of industrial arts, Berlin: a teacher was Emil Orlik. 1911, 1913: studied in Paris. Designed books for publishers including S. Fischer, Georg Müller, G. Kiepenheuer, Erich Reiss.
