Biography

Typography, type design, trademarks. Born 21 November 1917 in Speyer. Military service of 7 years. Studied under Ernst von Dombrowski and F.H. Ehmcke in Munich. Designed for publishers, greeting-card manufacturers and other industries. Designed typefaces Primadonna (1956), Slogan and Charme (1957/8), all for Ludwig & Mayer, and Verona (1959, Genzsch & Heyse).
