Biography

Publicity. Born 27 September 1924 in Neufechingen/Saar. Early training as engineer in Munich; also attended evening classes at the Kunstakademie. Four years military service (German navy), then prisoner-of-war. 1946: returned to Germany; lived in Kusel. 1948: ‘guest-student’ at Kaiserslautern Meister Schule, followed by freelance design career. Designed for the Trier tourist office and Anilin- und Soda-Fabrik, Ludwigshafen.
