Biography

Publicity. Born 12 May 1916 in Berlin. From 1933: studied at the Höhere Graphische Fachschule: one of his teachers was Otto Arpke. From 1939: military service. 1944: taken prisoner in North Africa; 1947: released. From 1947: freelance work mainly for industrial clients including Mercedes-Benz; living in Hannover.
