Posters, publicity. c1932-5: studied at the Städel-Kunstschule, Frankfurt a.M.: teachers included Willi Baumeister, J.V. Cissarz, Fritz Wichert, Albert Windisch. 1939-45: military service ; prisoner-of-war. 1940: awarded First Prize in International Road Design [Verkehrsgestaltung] exhibition, Cologne. From 1950: designed pharmaceutical publicity, particularly for Farbwerke Hoechst, Frankfurt a.M.
