Willi Seidl

Biography

Born 15 May 1911 in Darmstadt. Student of F.H. Ernst Schneidler at the Akademie der bildenden Künste, Stuttgart. 1954-7: worked at the Bauer Typefoundry, Frankfurt a.M. From 1967: taught at the Akademie der bildende Kunst, Karlsruhe. Designed for industrial firms including VW, Daimler-Benz, Reemtsma.
