Anton Wolff

Biography

Posters, stamps, trademarks. Born 6 February 1911 in Rodenkirchen near Cologne. 1928-31: studied at the Cologne Werkschule: teachers included Richard Seewald, Heinrich Hussman . He first became a scenic artist at the Municipal Theatre, Cologne, then freelanced. From 1946: taught a foundation class at Cologne Werkschule. Died 1957? A wall-painting is in Rundfunkhaus, Cologne.
